This sustainability event entertains, educates and inspires
attendees to participate in local and state-wide sustainability
efforts. Aspiring and practicing sustainability professionals will
be presenting short topics related to our island's sustainability
efforts. The format provides actionable insights and creates lasting
dialog among attendees. Dozens of vendors and event sponsors will be
on hand to discuss their latest efforts and offerings. Presentation
topics that entertain, educate and inspire will include; local green
business and jobs, education, sustainable shelters and building
codes, sustainable farming and food independence, water supplies,
local renewable energy efforts, open government, green jobs and
greener local
economies. Attendees can gain a deeper understanding by
participating in moderated discussions after each presentation. Very
short, highly-informative videos will play between presentations.
This is a not for profit event and the event itself is being
delivered by an all-volunteer team from Green Collar Technologies.
