Community Living Skills 1: 
Self Care, Boundaries and Non-Violent Communication
Wednesday June 3rd, 2:15 - 4:45
and Friday June 5th, 1:45 - 3:15
with Dona Willoughby and Aniko Willoughby
These classes are not drop in. Pre-registration for first class required at least 24 hours in advance. You must attend Wednesday in order to attend Friday.

Community Living Skills 2: Re-evaluation Counseling
6-class Series: Wednesdays and Fridays June 10th- June 26th

These classes are not drop in. Pre-registration for first class required at least 24 hours in advance. You must attend the first class in order to attend the series. After the first class, you must sign up for the entire series in order to continue.

Description: The Community Living Skills classes are intended as an introduction to some of the skills we use at La'akea Community to help bring us connection and balance, which greatly enhance our ability to communicate effectively.  We teach these classes to our interns and have been asked to make them available to our local community as well.


Additional Classes:

Monday evening connections with self and participants led by Tracy.  These classes will weave Tracy's studies of Huna, a form of Hawaiian Spirituality taught by Stewart Blackburn (who learned from Serge Kahili King), with Permaculture Principles focusing on sustainability in both the physical and social planes.  Expect discussion, connection (smiles) and meditative journeying.
